The Amatrol Industrial Refrigeration Learning System (T7500) develops practical skills in refrigeration operation, control, and troubleshooting. Learners work with industrial equipment to connect system performance, component function, and controller settings with the diagnostic decisions technicians make in the field.
The T7500 combines a scroll compressor, water-cooled condenser, air-cooling evaporator, and water-cooling evaporator with smart controllers. Learners investigate how refrigeration components and controls work together across different operating conditions.
Hands-on activities include operating a chiller-controlled variable frequency drive (VFD), monitoring a chiller controller through Bluetooth, and configuring a smart refrigeration controller for single-zone operation.
Included FaultPro software provides 35 faults involving mechanical components, electrical components, and controllers. Instructors can introduce problems that give learners structured opportunities to investigate system behavior and develop diagnostic skills.
