VRNA by VRSim is an immersive virtual reality training system designed for nursing, patient care and emergency medical education. Students and trainees can practice job-relevant skills in realistic virtual environments while receiving guided instruction, feedback and performance data.
VRNA complements traditional classroom, skills lab and clinical or field training by giving learners additional opportunities to practice procedures, make decisions and build confidence in a controlled environment. Because scenarios can be repeated without consuming disposable supplies or requiring a complete physical simulation setup, programs can expand opportunities for hands-on practice while making efficient use of instructors, equipment and lab space.
The VRNA platform is available in three training modules: VRNA CNA, VRNA EMS and VRNA Advanced EMS (AEMS). Each module is designed for a different level of healthcare or emergency medical training.

VRNA requires an open training area of at least 10 feet by 10 feet for each active user. VRSim recommends approximately 12 feet by 12 feet when possible to provide additional freedom of movement.
A stable Wi-Fi connection is required. VRNA supports modern 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks with appropriate access to secure web traffic.
VRNA can support healthcare and emergency medical training in high schools, career and technical education programs, technical colleges, community colleges, workforce development programs, EMS agencies and other organizations responsible for preparing healthcare and emergency response professionals.
VRNA is designed to supplement—not replace—traditional instruction, physical skills practice, clinical experiences or field training.
