The FANUC Fenceless ER-4iA CERT Cart gives students hands-on experience with industrial robot operation, programming, safety zones, end-of-arm tooling, and automated material handling. Its open, mobile design provides access to a large robot work envelope while integrated safety technologies monitor the surrounding training area.

Designed for high schools, technical schools, community colleges, universities, and workforce-development programs, the system combines genuine FANUC industrial automation technology with the instructional resources needed to build relevant robotics skills.

Students learn to program an industrial FANUC robot while gaining practical experience with the safety systems used in modern automated facilities.

Fenceless Industrial Robotics Training

Industrial Technology

The standard system features a six-axis FANUC ER-4iA robot and R-30iB Mate Plus controller, giving students experience with the programming environment and controls used throughout industry.

Integrated Safety

FANUC Dual Check Safety works with an integrated safety laser scanner to monitor defined areas around the cart and control robot operation when someone approaches the work area.

Mobile, Open Design

The fenceless cart provides a work envelope of more than 180 degrees and includes multidirectional locking casters for movement between classrooms, laboratories, and training areas.

Prepare Students for Industrial Automation Careers

The Fenceless ER-4iA CERT Cart helps learners connect robot programming with the broader technologies involved in a complete automation system. Students can practice operating the robot, creating programs, defining safe work areas, configuring tooling, and troubleshooting robotic applications.
