FDM Thermoplastics

  • Stratasys FDM Thermoplastics

FDM technology works with production-grade thermoplastics to build tough, durable parts that are accurate, repeatable and stable over time. 3D print your concept models, prototypes, tools and production parts in familiar materials like ABS, PC and high-performance ULTEM 1010 and ULTEM 9085.

Materials

  • Stratasys FDM Materials
FDM HIPS is high-impact polystyrene in a 3D printing filament form. Its mechanical properties are similar to ABS in most respects, but as its name implies, it offers much higher impact resistance than ABS, providing durability for 3D printed parts.
  • Stratasys Kimya PC-FR FDM
Kimya PC-FR is a polycarbonate FDM 3D printing material with flame-retardant properties. Designed for compliance with fire safety regulations, this Stratasys Validated Material is highly suitable for passenger rail and air transportation applications.
  • Stratasys FDM Materials
Nylon 12 is popular in traditional manufacturing for its superb price-performance ratio. Exhibiting 100 to 300 percent better elongation at break and superior fatigue resistance over any other additive manufacturing technology. Nylon 12 is primarily used in aerospace, automotive, and consumer goods industries. Best Z-axis lamination.
  • FDM Thermoplastic
The Nylon 12 Carbon Fiber (CF) 3d printing material is the highest flexural strength FDM material - offers to replace costly and time-consuming prototypes.
  • FDM Nylon 6 combines strength and toughness superior to other FDM Thermoplastics, for applications that require strong, customized parts and tooling that lasts longer and withstands rigorous functional testing.
  • Stratasys FDM Materials
FDM Nylon-CF10 delivers high strength, a high stiffness-to-weight ratio, and chemical resistance. Combined with soluble support, these properties allow for strong, geometrically complex parts.
  • Stratasys FDM PC-ABS
This production-grade thermoplastic offers both the superior strength and heat resistance of PC and the flexibility of ABS. Commonly used in the automotive, electronics, and telecommunication industries.
  • Stratasys FDM Sample Part
PC-ISO blends are widely used throughout packaging and medical device manufactures. The PC-ISO material used to build the FDM parts is USP Class VI approved and also ISO 10993-1 rated. Available in two colors.
  • Stratasys FDM PC
The PC 3D printing polycarbonate material offers accuracy, durability and stability, producing strong parts that can withstand functional testing.
  • Stratasys PLA
A stiff thermoplastic made from renewable resources, PLA is perfect for quick concept verification at a low cost. It works with fast-draft mode on the Stratasys F123 series and comes in 11 color options. PLA has a low melting point, requiring less heat and power.
