Maximum Modularity with the Fronius TPS/i
The TPS/i from Fronius is an intelligent, modular, and future-ready MIG/MAG welding system engineered to meet the highest demands in automated and robotic welding environments. When paired with APT/FANUC robotic welding carts, the TPS/i delivers a seamless and high-performance training or production solution with real-world industrial relevance.

Next-Generation Welding Power

With output ranges up to 600 A, the TPS/i supports steel, stainless steel, and aluminum applications with exceptional arc stability and penetration control. Available in both compact and split configurations, it fits perfectly into a range of educational, industrial, and mobile applications.

  • Easy-to-use touchscreen interface with over 30 languages and gloved operation
  • Modular expansion for manual or robotic configurations
  • Welding Packages such as LSC, PMC, and CMT for advanced arc control
  • Integrated software tools for data logging, diagnostics, and real-time guidance
  • Compatible with robotic automation using Push or PushPull torch solutions

The TPS/i system offers plug-and-play integration with FANUC robots, making it the ideal solution for APT’s robotic welding training carts. Optional robotic torch packages, automated cleaning stations, and modular torch change systems are all supported.

  • Compact Systems: TPS/i 270 C, TPS/i 320 C – Integrated wirefeeder, ideal for mobile or manual applications
  • Split Systems: TPS/i 320 / 400 / 500 / 600 – External wirefeeder, optimal for stationary setups and long-range torch use (up to 30 m)

Customize the TPS/i with Fronius Welding Packages to meet any welding need:

  • Standard: Spray arc and dip transfer arc for basic MIG/MAG welding
  • Pulse: Low-spatter, high-precision pulsed arc for thin to thick materials
  • LSC: Low Spatter Control with arc and penetration stabilizers
  • PMC: Pulse Multi Control for premium seam quality and speed
  • CMT: Cold Metal Transfer for low heat input and precision droplet control

Enhance your system with powerful software tools:

  • WeldCube Air: Cloud-based platform for welding data management
  • WeldCube Navigator & Premium: Workflow optimization and advanced analytics
  • SmartManager: Web-based dashboard for data documentation
  • Central User Management: Centralized user access and configuration
  • WeldConnect App: Mobile tool for parameter guidance and setup
  • API: OPC-UA and MQTT support for data integrations and live monitoring
  • Industrial-grade automation training in a compact, flexible setup
  • Real-world robotic integration with standardized curriculum alignment
  • Future-proof solution supporting evolving workforce certification needs (AWS, SACA, etc.)

Thanks to its modular design and the ease with which the system can be extended, the TPS/i is ideal for a wide range of manual applications.

1
Trolleys and accessories

TU CAR 4 PRO

2
MIG/MAG welding torches for manual welding applications

Hosepack lengths of up to 16 meters and torch bodies in different lengths and angles simplify everyday working life and give welders the flexibility they need.

3
WF 25i Dual Wire Feeder

Wire change at the touch of a button. The Dual Wire Feeder WF25i Dual as an extension for the TPS/i series.

4
The TPS/i welding system

The TPS/i is available as a compact or split system in the 270, 320, 400, 500, and 600 A power categories. TPS/i systems are available in gas-cooled or water-cooled versions.

5
Welding Packages

Can be upgraded at any time. Standard, Pulse, LSC PMC, CMT: the perfect Welding Package to suit any application.

6
WeldCube Navigator

Real-time feedback solution for welding professionals. The WeldCube Navigator software solution supports you step-by-step in the manufacturing process.

6
Personal protective equipment

Protection system for the eyes and airways.

The system is operated using the central press-and-turn button or via the touchscreen. Users receive direct support in the form of graphic-based instructions and dynamic visualizations when making changes to parameters.

1
Status indicator and quick change

Quick change between characteristics, processes, and functions.

2
Main parameters

All the important settings can be viewed at a glance.

3
Touchscreen

Animated parameter display, such as arc lengths or pulse correction. The 7" color display is even easy to operate while wearing welding gloves.

4
Customizable full-screen mode with EasyJobs on demand

Clear display: recurring welding tasks can be set quickly and easily.

5
Combined press-and-turn button

For fast operation.

6
NFC field

e.g., for user management and locking/unlocking the power source with an NFC card or key fob.

7
Wire-threading button

Operation at the touch of a button: use the welding system, wirefeeder, or torch trigger to feed the welding wire through the hosepack and the torch without opening the feed rollers. The wirefeeder stops automatically when the workpiece is touched.

8
Gas test

If it has not been used for a while, the hosepack can be flushed with shielding gas by pressing the gas test button. That way, the gas shield is already in place when the arc ignites.
