STEM Interactive Experience in Self-Driving Cars and AI

In this webinar, Quanser explores an interactive, hands-on STEM platform designed to engage students and provide unique insights into technologies taking place under the hood of the self-driving cars of the future. The platform, based on Quanser’s Self-Driving Car Research Studio (SDRS), was designed for the Oakland County school to engage K-12 students, teachers, and their families to build career awareness and self-efficacy through hands-on experiences with autonomous vehicles. In particular, we will discuss how each element of an intelligent system can be explored with our open architecture SDRS platform, including sensing the environment, using an AI Neural Network to detect road signs, vehicle-2-vehicle (V2V) communication, energy usage of the car, and much more.
