Sight flow indicators are installed in piping systems to provide direct visual observation of liquid or other process material moving through a line. A common configuration uses two circular sight windows positioned opposite one another and perpendicular to the direction of flow.
These devices help operators confirm the presence, direction, color, clarity, and approximate condition of process flow. Depending on the application and indicator design, they may also help identify interrupted flow, bubbles, contamination, discoloration, or other changes in the process stream.
