The sample board includes more than 90 common fasteners, including machine screws, cap screws, wood screws, sheet metal screws, bolts, nuts, locknuts, and washers. A variety of thread types/sizes (including metric), head types, and coatings are also featured. Users will learn how to identify fasteners visually using magnetic identification tags, as well as via measurements with included gauges.
Technical training is most effective when learners can gain hands-on practice with industry-standard components they’ll encounter on the job. The Mechanical Fasteners Sample Board features a wide variety of common, industrial-quality fasteners to provide learners with a realistic training experience that will build skills that translate easily to the workplace.

To help learners identify fasteners visually, the sample board includes more than 100 engraved magnetic identification tags. To help learners with fastener measurement, American national and metric screw pitch and bolt and nut size gauges are also included.
The Mechanical Fasteners Sample Board’s courseware consists of an IPT Industrial Fasteners Manual. This manual can be used as part of either an instructor-led course or self-directed study. Learners will explore a wide variety of fundamental topics related to a wide variety of industrial fasteners.
