New Three-Display Functionality

Available for our leading products, using just one off-the-shelf PC

Simlog Inc., the pioneer and standard in affordable PC-based heavy equipment simulators for operator training in education and industry, is pleased to announce the availability of new software functionality to accommodate three high definition (HD) displays.

With such a three-display setup, it becomes possible to look to the left, to the right, and straight ahead just by turning your head, making the simulation experience much more “immersive”, thanks to the much larger field of view.

“In just a few years, big screen displays have become much more affordable, thanks to the growing popularity of home entertainment systems,” says Paul Freedman, Simlog’s Founder and President. “And although simulators with multiple displays have been around for some time, they required special computers, sometimes even one per display.”

“What makes our three-display functionality so important”, continues Freedman, “is that it requires nothing more than a single off-the-shelf PC, with no change to the price of the software license. More evidence that Simlog continues to set the standard in cost-effective simulation.”

At this time, Simlog’s new three-display functionality is available for the following Personal Simulators: Forklift, Hydraulic Excavator, Bulldozer, Mobile Crane, and Mining Truck.

Simlog’s simulation software continues to support the option of a single display, for increased portability, and for setups where space is limited.
