Amatrol Acquires Bayport Technical

Jeffersonville, IN – On February 15th, 2021, Amatrol, Inc. of Jeffersonville, Indiana completed the acquisition of Bayport Training and Technical Center of LaPorte, Texas. Founded over 20 years ago, Bayport is a leading manufacturer of hands-on training equipment for teaching technical skills to maintenance technicians, engineers, and operators in the process industry.

Bayport’s products have a strong global reputation, with clients that comprise leading colleges and companies throughout the U.S. and other countries. Their products are used to train individuals in a wide range of industry sectors, including oil and gas, chemical, power generation, food processing, pharmaceutical, marine, military, and advanced manufacturing.

Bayport – which will now be known as Bayport Technical – joins DAC Worldwide of Swedesboro, New Jersey in the Amatrol family of technical training solutions for schools and industry. Bayport Technical is a division of Amatrol, with primary manufacturing operations and customer experience center located in LaPorte, Texas.
