Hands-On Robotics & Autonomous Vehicle Training
Robotics and autonomous vehicle training gives students hands-on experience with the mechanical, electrical, programming, and control systems that make intelligent machines work. Students can build, program, test, troubleshoot, and improve robotic systems while applying STEM concepts to real-world engineering challenges.
Tech-Labs offers robotics and autonomous vehicle learning systems for middle school, high school, CTE, and post-secondary programs. From foundational robotics and programming to sensor integration, autonomous navigation, and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), these systems provide progressive opportunities for students to develop technical and problem-solving skills.
Depending on the training system and curriculum, students can explore:
- Robotics Fundamentals – Build and investigate mechanical structures, motors, electronics, sensors, and control systems.
- Coding & Programming – Program robotic behaviors and connect software concepts to physical systems.
- Sensors & Controls – Use sensors, feedback, and control systems to help robots interact with their environment.
- Autonomous Navigation – Explore obstacle avoidance, line following, positioning, navigation, and other autonomous behaviors.
- Mechanical & Electrical Engineering – Investigate how mechanical components, electrical systems, motors, and controls work together.
- Engineering Design & Troubleshooting – Design, build, test, diagnose problems, collect data, and improve robotic systems.
Students can begin with foundational robotics concepts and progress toward increasingly sophisticated autonomous systems. Hands-on projects help students understand the relationship between programming, sensors, mechanical design, electronics, and control while developing skills that apply to robotics, automation, advanced manufacturing, autonomous vehicles, and other emerging technologies.
Robotics education can include programmable robots, autonomous ground vehicles, sensors, microcontrollers, engineering projects, and curriculum-based learning systems. These technologies give students opportunities to apply classroom concepts while developing practical skills through experimentation, testing, and problem-solving.
Robotics and autonomous vehicle training brings programming, engineering, sensors, controls, and mechanical systems together in a hands-on learning environment.
