Stratasys Objet350/500 Connex3

Connex3 3D Production Systems
The only 3D printer for color and advanced multi-material combinations.
Multi-purpose solutions, multi-purpose prototyping.
Material cabinet holds large volume for better efficencies
All of these color, multi-material parts were built in one job.
Yellow, magenta and TangoPlus produce and electrifying effect.
This prototype blends cyan and magenta with rubber-like parts.

The world’s most versatile multi-material 3D printer puts products on the fast track through development and production. From testing to rapid tooling, get the properties, pigments and precision you need to build great products faster.

Versatile Rapid Tooling

Hundreds of Materials for Maximum Versatility

Bring new production-floor efficiencies to fruition with in-house tooling, custom jigs, assembly fixtures and gauges — all built on the same system that produces ultra-realistic prototypes. With triple-jetting technology, hundreds of Digital Materials, and a 19.7 × 15.7 × 7.9 in. build envelope, the Objet500 Connex3 is a product development and production powerhouse.

Get unmatched versatility with a range of material properties from rubber to rigid, transparent to opaque, neutral to vibrantly colored and standard to biocompatible. For jobs that require a range of mechanical, optical or thermal properties, only Connex3 lets you combine up to three base resins in pre-set configurations to produce up to 82 materials in a single build.

3D print jigs, fixtures and tooling – even short run injection molds, blow molds and sandcasting patterns – to exacting specifications with 16-micron layer thickness and smooth surfaces right off the print tray. Create ergonomic, multi-material tools with non-slip grips, rubberized product-facing surfaces, crisp print and color coding directly from the digital file. With Connex3 on your manufacturing floor, you’ll be more agile than ever.

Connex3 with triple-jetting technology gives you:

  • Great throughput for tooling and prototypes
  • Hundreds of two- and three-component Digital Material options
  • 14 base material options
  • Up to 82 material properties in a single build
  • Material hot-swapping for efficient workflow

Hundreds of Digital Materials

Base materials include:

Digital ABS in the Mix: For tough, ergonomic tooling, only the Objet500 Connex3 lets you blend the strongest PolyJet photopolymer, Digital ABS, with Rubber-like Material to produce a range of Shore A values with great durability.

High Temperature: This material is ideal for tooling and fixtures that require higher heat. Blend with Rubber-like material to achieve a range of Shore A values and thermal properties.

Bio-compatible: Medical materials offer excellent visualization and great dimensional stability for dental delivery trays, surgical orthopedic guides and hearing aids.

Rubber-like: With a range of bright and subtle colors, opacities and elastomer characteristics, this adaptable material is ideal for a variety of tools and prototypes.

Simulated Polypropylene: Tough single-material options withstand the stress of living hinges, flexible closures and snap-fit parts.

All Connex3 systems will now support files exported from CAD as VRMLs as well as STLs. This retains color designations from the designer, eliminating the need for the Connex3 operator to re-designate all shells in Objet Studio.
