This refrigeration demonstrator uses the 4 main parts of the refrigeration system (condenser, compressor, evaporator and control device) that demonstrate basic refrigeration principles. The components then work together to cool a small enclosed refrigerator compartment fully featured with an electronic temperature control device.

Our Mission: Provide Specialty Tools and Equipment to Make the Job Easier.
Our Goal Every Day: Always Exceed the Expectations of Our Professional Customers.
The Imperial® brand was founded over 100 years ago on the south side of Chicago with the formation of the Imperial Brass Manufacturing Company. Quickly establishing a reputation as specialists in brass, Imperial designers developed the non-soldering “flared fitting”, followed by the first patents for flaring tools and tube cutters. Over the years the Imperial name came to stand for excellence and innovation, and the product list grew to include tube fittings, tube working tools, refrigeration and air conditioning service accessories, and associated products in the fluid connector field.
In September of 1996 the Imperial® brand tools and accessories division was sold to Stride Tool Inc. of Ellicottville, New York. Under Stride Tool’s leadership, the Imperial brand has been strengthened and expanded to include not just specialty tools for HVACR service and tube working, but also for electrical, automotive and industrial applications. In 2004 a new facility was completed in northeast Ohio to centralize all manufacturing and administrative operations.
Thermal Engineering: In 2012 Stride Tool acquired Thermal Engineering Company of Mentor, Ohio and their line of HVACR service tools. The best of the Thermal Engineering offerings are now sold under the Imperial-Thermal name.
